Terms of Service

Last updated: May 31, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of nashville-roof.com and the roofing services provided by Nashville Roof LLC (“Nashville Roof”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website, requesting an inspection or estimate, or entering into a contract with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Free Roof Inspections and Estimates

Roof inspections and written estimates are provided at no cost as a courtesy. Inspection findings and contractor estimates represent our professional opinion based on what is reasonably visible and accessible at the time of inspection. Concealed or hidden conditions, decking damage, structural issues, or issues that develop after the inspection date may not be reflected in the original estimate and may change the scope or price of the work.

2. Insurance Claims — Contractor Role

Nashville Roof is a licensed Tennessee roofing contractor. We are not public adjusters and we do not interpret insurance policy coverage, negotiate claim settlement amounts, or act as your insurance representative. Our role is limited to:

  • Inspecting the roof and documenting visible damage with photos.
  • Preparing contractor estimates for repair or replacement scope.
  • Providing roof measurements and identifying construction items missing from the scope.
  • Documenting code-required construction items related to the roof system.
  • Communicating construction details and contractor pricing to the property owner and, when authorized, to the insurance company.

Insurance carriers determine coverage and claim outcomes. Nashville Roof does not guarantee any claim approval, payment, or settlement amount.

3. Contracts and Pricing

All roofing work is governed by a written contract that describes the scope of work, materials, price, payment terms, and timeline. The contract supersedes any verbal quotes, estimates, or representations. Pricing is valid for the period stated in the contract and may change due to material costs, hidden damage, change orders, or scope additions agreed to in writing.

4. Workmanship Warranty

Qualified roof replacements include a written workmanship warranty as described in the contract. Workmanship warranty terms, duration, and exclusions are stated in the contract. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by storms, falling debris, mechanical damage, foot traffic, owner-installed equipment, lack of maintenance, alterations by other parties, ordinary wear and tear, or acts of God.

5. Manufacturer Material Warranties

Material warranties are provided by the shingle, metal, underlayment, or component manufacturer. Coverage, conditions, and registration requirements are determined by the manufacturer. Nashville Roof will provide manufacturer warranty documentation at the customer’s request.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide clear access to the roof, driveway, and work area during the project.
  • Move or protect personal property in or around the work zone, including items in the attic, on patios, and on decks.
  • Notify Nashville Roof of known structural concerns, electrical concerns, satellite dishes, solar equipment, skylights, or other features requiring special handling.
  • Make payments according to the contract.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel the contract within the time period required by Tennessee law for home solicitation sales (if applicable). After that period, cancellations may be subject to charges for materials already ordered, labor performed, or losses incurred. Specific cancellation rights and procedures are stated in the written contract.

8. Permits and Code

Roofing work will be performed in accordance with applicable Tennessee state and local building code requirements. Permit fees, when required, will be included in the contract or billed separately as agreed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nashville Roof disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly provided in a written contract.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nashville Roof is not liable for incidental, consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, or punitive damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
